| What is Beamer again? Beamer is the world’s first Videophone Station. It instantly adds colour motion video to your calls on your existing phone. Would I need special equipment or service to use Beamer? No. None at all. Beamer works with your existing analog phone, corded or cordless, that’s connected to your existing phone line. Will I incur any additional charges to my phone calls when I use Beamer? No, because Beamer uses your existing analog line to transmit the video images. For local calls, it’s free and for long distance and overseas calls, you pay only for the regular phone charges. Any service fees, subscriptions or stuff like that? No. None at all. What if I suddenly need privacy during a Beamer video call? Not a problem. Simply press Beamer’s snapshot button and the other party will only see a still picture (of yorself or the room). Your video transmission is temporarily halted. Reactivate video by pressing the snapshot button. Is Beamer easy to use? Yes, very easy. Take Beamer to a standard power socket, plug your phone to Beamer and then plug Beamer to wall phone jack. From “out-of-the-box” to “up-andrunning” in less than 2 minutes! Is Beamer portable? Can I take it on vacation? Yes, of course. Beamer’s ultra-slim, lightweight design makes it so easy to take with you when you travel or go on vacation, wherever there is a standard analog phone line. What kind of power supply do I need? Beamer has a universal switching power supply and it can adapt to any power system from 100-240 volts and at either 50 to 60Hz. Can I use Beamer for making international calls? Yes, as long as both parties have a Beamer each and the phones are connected on analog phone lines.. Is Beamer really a good product?
